IR Sensor Switch 12/36V with Motion Detection
The SR-2005 switch is an intensity regulator for the infrared motion detector with high sensitivity and a maximum detection range of 6 cm. The IR sensor dimmer is designed with a compact size, a single-channel output, and is available in a constant current version.
The light will turn on and off when you place or remove your hand from the detection area, and there will be a dimming duration when your hand remains in the detection area for a period of time (dimming cycle: darker-brighter-darker-brighter…). Each cycle of the dimming duration lasts about 16-20 seconds.
A smooth and flicker-free dimming can be achieved with the sensor dimmer. Designed with a memory function, this IR voltage regulator can remember the last brightness setting when turned back on.
How does it work?
The IR Sensor Switch is a proximity switch. When it detects presence, it will activate or deactivate the circuit, and vice versa. In other words, it maintains the function until a new signal is detected. For example: if we pass our hand over the sensor's detection area while the light is off, it will turn the light on and keep it on until we pass our hand again and turn the light off.
Applications of the IR Switch Sensor
The IR Switch Sensor is a perfect device to install in areas where automatic lighting is needed, for example, under kitchen furniture, in mirrors, in installations of LED strips recessed, so that when passing a hand, the switch is activated and the light turns on, and it turns off again upon detecting movement.
Characteristics of the IR Switch Sensor
- High sensitivity.
- Detection range Max 6cm (IR Sensor).
- The length of the sensor line is >1M.
- The light will turn on or off when your hand appears or moves away in the detection area, and a light dimming duration will occur.
- When your hand stays in the detection area for a while (dim light cycling: darker, brighter, darker, brighter...).
- Each duration of the recycled light dimming (dark-bright-darker) is 16-20 seconds.
- The dim, soft, and subdued light of dimming changes without any flash.
- The "Memory" function allows the last brightness level to be recalled when the unit is turned back on.
