Short-range on/off sensor
The short-distance sensor SP29A turns on and off with the simple movement of a hand. It is a short-range IR sensor with a compact size. The IR sensor is a highly sensitive infrared motion detector with a detection range of up to 5cm.
Your turning on or off is controlled by hand movements. When you move your hands towards the IR sensor, it detects the motion and turns on the light. Then the light will turn off until the IR sensor detects another hand movement.
How does the IR sensor work?
The IR Sensor is a proximity sensor. When it detects presence, it will activate or deactivate the circuit, and vice versa. That is, it maintains the function until it detects a new signal. For example: if, with the light off, we pass our hand through the detection area of the sensor, it will turn on the light and keep it on until we pass our hand again and turn off the light.
Applications of the IR Switch Sensor
The IR Switch Sensor is a perfect device to place in areas where automatic lighting is needed, such as under kitchen furniture, in mirrors, in built-in LED strip installations, etc.
