Infrared Motion Sensor (PIR) for Corners SP04B. For mounting on indoor or outdoor walls with coverage, protection rating IP44. The infrared sensor will detect when someone enters its detection area, at a maximum length of 12 meters and at an angle of 270 degrees. Additionally, the detector contains a twilight sensor to identify night and day.

Infrared motion detector for corners

The PIR motion sensor is installed in any corner of interior or exterior covered areas, with an IP44 protection rating. It is recommended to install it at a height of 1.8m-2.5m. Capable of detecting motion through the infrared sensor and equipped with a built-in twilight sensor to distinguish between night and day.

Adjustable, easy to install and use, with wide application for both individuals and professionals. The SP04B is a corner infrared motion detector that detects movement at a maximum range of 12 meters and at an angle of 270 degrees. It allows for indoor and sheltered outdoor installation.

One of the great features of this sensor is that in addition to incorporating the infrared PIR sensor, it is capable of identifying light during night and day with the twilight sensor, having a brightness regulator from <3 to 2,000 LUX, allowing for significant energy savings and using the energy of the lighting fixtures more effectively.

Thanks to this, the sensor will detect the presence of people and will automatically turn on the lights. Once it detects that no one is in its range, it will turn off the lights, with a customizable delay of 10 seconds to 7 minutes.

Motion detector

With a predefined time of approximately 10 seconds to 7 minutes, the motion detector will turn off again if no presence is detected.

You can adjust from the off time to the on sensitivity, allowing for a maximum detection distance reduction of 12 meters.

If you set the "LUX" value to "SUN", it will work during the day and night, and in the case of "MOON", the sensor will turn on when the brightness is less than 3 lux.

Corner sensor installation

  • ✔ Disconnect the electrical power.
  • ✔ Loosen the screws of the cover to place it in the corner.
  • ✔ Place the power and charging cables according to the diagram below.
  • ✔ Secure the sensor to the wall with the four included screws.

It can be adjusted to illuminate only at night or all the time, adapting to the needs of each room. Detection angle of 270 degrees. Avoid pointing the sensor towards highly reflective objects like mirrors, or near heat sources.

Operating time

How long should the sensor remain on? The operating time of the device is adjustable with the timer from 10 seconds to 7 minutes. If the sensor detects motion again, the operating time resets.

Dusk sensor

Do you want to light up only at night? With the sensor, you can decide whether the fixtures turn on during the day or at night by adjusting the ambient light from 3 lux to 2000 lux. Avoid reflections and obstacles on the sensor. If you set it to the "SUN" value, it will operate during the day and night.

SENSITIVITY

Adjust the sensitivity of the sensor allowing to reduce the maximum established distance of 12 meters in a 270-degree angle.
