No connections needed, the garland works using the 2000mA Solar Panel. The included stake allows us to embed the panel in both grass and sand, with an adjustable rotation of 90 degrees. 

Use the power switch to turn the lights on and off and the mode switch to choose between the 2 light effects, steady and flashing, to suit the ambiance of your parties, special occasions, or decorations.

Stake the small solar panel into the ground with the included stake to store solar energy, and the lights will automatically turn on at night when they have power from a full charge; no batteries or power cords are needed, and there are no electrical costs incurred.
