LED bulb E27 adapter with PIR motion sensor
The E27 bulb adapter with an integrated PIR motion sensor allows for efficient management of lighting in areas with sporadic passage, turning on when detecting motion and turning off after leaving the detection zone, after the programmed time has elapsed.
The PIR infrared motion sensor can distinguish between day and night depending on the sensitivity set on the sensor. If we set the LUX dial to day mode, the sensor will operate and activate the circuit both during the day and at night. Conversely, if we set it to night mode, the sensor will only allow current to flow during the night.
Installation and setup of the E27 bulb adapter with motion sensor
The installation is very simple and does not require any installation work or wiring. It will be sufficient to screw the adapter into the existing E27 socket, and then connect the LED bulb. As always, it is necessary to disconnect the power supply when installing or handling the adapter, in order to avoid accidents or electric shocks.
Technical characteristics of the E27 PIR motion sensor
The sensor allows for use both day and night, depending on how the LUX dial is set. It is designed to detect motion at 360 degrees, at a maximum distance of 6 meters and a height between 2 and 3.5 meters. Optimal operation is achieved with ambient temperatures around 24ºC.
The timing programming of the sensor, using the TIME dial, allows you to configure the device to activate the electrical circuit from 10 seconds to a maximum of 5 minutes. The sensitivity of the sensor allows you to set the ambient brightness from 10 to 2000 LUX.
We recommend not covering the sensor or installing it near objects that block infrared detection, as well as in areas where there may be sudden temperature changes: air conditioning units, heating systems, stoves, fireplaces, areas with drafts, etc. The E27 LED bulb adapter with PIR motion sensor is designed for indoor use (IP20).
