The LED strip is a component that integrates into your projects with minimal visual impact, creating indirect and diffuse lighting that highlights architectural elements.

The SMD5050 RGB LED strips are medium/high power and low consumption. An average consumption of 14.4 W/m is calculated when all color channels are activated at maximum. They can be cut every 50mm, allowing them to be adapted and spliced according to the needs of each project.

Installation of the silicone LED strip IP67 RGB 12V:

The SILICONE IP67 LED STRIP does not come with adhesive tape on the back. The installation should be done using aluminum profiling, or with transparent ties for fastening with nails/screws. Being a flexible strip, it can be used in tight curves. The installation against the power supply can be done using connectors or by directly soldering the wire to the power supply. If you wish to install it outdoors, make sure to protect the solder joints, cuts, and splices with the necessary waterproofing.

For a complete LED strip installation, you will need a controller, a power supply, and optionally, aluminum profiles (surface-mounted or recessed). It is estimated that for 12V LED strips, if you want to run lengths longer than 5 meters, you will need to install additional power supplies and signal amplifiers to avoid voltage drops.

In the specific case of RGB strips, you will need to install a specific color controller. We have multiple options in RGB controllers, depending on your budget and the complexity of the installation.
