12V programmable RGB LED strip 7.2W/meter

The RGB digital IC LED strip allows the creation of lighting effects and programs using a programmable controller. It includes SMD5050 RGB LED chips, and every 3 LEDs has a WS2811 control chip, allowing color effects to be programmed for each group of 3 LEDs.

The IC LED strip consists of a 10mm wide PCB, encapsulated in a transparent silicone sleeve that converts the LED strip into an IP67 rated fixture, suitable for outdoor installations.

The PCB allows cutting every 10cm. This way, it is possible to make custom assemblies and cuts according to needs, and to perform the necessary splices. For this LED strip, we recommend that the splices always be made with soldering. It is very important that the strip is well protected and not subjected to impacts, foot traffic, or extreme bending, as this can cause the control chip to fail and result in groups of LEDs being turned off.

Use and applications of the RGB IC LED strip

The LED IC strip is commonly used in bars, nightclubs, restaurants, music clubs, and concert halls, among others. The effects can be controlled with a basic remote control, with more advanced remotes via mobile app, or with DMX controllers.
