ULTRAVIOLET LED Strip - Black Light
The UV LED Strip emits "black light" with ultraviolet electromagnetic radiation, and is made with Wood's glass to enhance fluorescent colors.
The LED strip is a component that integrates into your projects with minimal visual impact, creating indirect and diffuse lighting that highlights architectural elements.
The SMD5050 LED strips are medium/high power and low consumption. The average consumption is estimated at 14 W/m. They can be cut every 50mm, allowing them to be adapted and joined according to the needs of each project.
Installation:
The LED strip comes with 3M adhesive tape on the back. Place it on a smooth, non-porous surface, and make sure to clean it beforehand. Being a flexible strip, it can be used on tight curves. The connection to the power supply can be made using connectors or by directly soldering the wire to the power supply.
For a complete LED strip installation, you will need a controller, a power supply, and optionally, aluminum profiles (surface-mounted or recessed). It is estimated that for 12V LED strips, if you want to make runs longer than 5 meters, you will need to install additional power supplies and signal amplifiers to avoid voltage drops.
Recommended uses:
-
Highlight architectural contours
-
Under-cabinet and shelving lighting, display cases
-
Hallways, showcases, with indirect lighting
Applications of black light:
- Entertainment venues: Nightclubs, music bars, recreational areas.
- Authentication of banknotes and passports.
- Indoor crops.
- Ideal for highlighting fluorescent and white colors.
Technical Installation of the Ultraviolet Strips:
1. The surface of the installation must be smooth, clean, and dry
2. The part of the LED components cannot be fixed on the surface of a sharp edge.
3. The LED strip of black light should not be hit or stepped on.
4. The UV LED Strip can be cut following the marked cut lines, every 5cm.
