The 250LM LED emergency light, your best option during power outages
It is essential in certain places to have several emergency lamps located in case there is a power supply interruption. Thanks to them, we will be able to find an exit easily or some necessary service to deal with that unforeseen event, such as the location of a fire extinguisher or the distribution board, among others. It is always important to keep in mind that there are guidelines to follow, as regulations are strict regarding the number of fixtures to install and their location, which may vary depending on the place.
The LED emergency light is made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), which is primarily characterized by its resistance to impacts. Its casing is white and features a frosted diffuser that prevents viewing the interior of the lamp. It consists of 6 high-quality SMD5730 chips that provide clear and wide illumination of the area where it is installed in case of a panic situation, activating automatically and having a battery life of up to 3 hours. Additionally, it includes two LED indicator lights showing the operating mode. If the green light is on, the fixture is operational, therefore lit. Conversely, if the red light is on, it indicates that the battery is charging.
Installation possibilities
LED emergency lights can be installed both on the ceiling and on the wall, and can be mounted in two ways:
- Recessed: Replacing the old fixture with this new one by fitting it into the gap or creating a hole in the new location. Once this step is completed and the wiring is connected, it is as simple as inserting the fixture into the gap while pushing back the spring tabs that will hold the emergency light in place.
- Surface: Also to replace old surface-mounted emergency lamps on walls or ceilings. If a new connection needs to be made, the necessary wiring must first be brought to the chosen location, connections made, and the frame that holds the incorporated luminaire removed in case it's installed recessed. Next, you open the luminaire to separate it from the housing and drill it comfortably. Then you reassemble it, and it's ready to operate.
