The 250LM LED emergency light, your best option for power outages
It is essential in certain areas to have several emergency lamps located in case of a power outage. Thanks to them, we will be able to find an exit easily or locate necessary services to cope with that unforeseen event, such as the location of a fire extinguisher or the distribution panel, among others. It is important to always keep in mind that there are guidelines to follow, as the regulations are strict regarding the number of light fixtures to install and their location, which may vary depending on the place.
The LED emergency light is made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), which is mainly characterized by its resistance to impact. Its casing is white and features a frosted diffuser that prevents seeing the interior of the lamp. It consists of 6 high-quality SMD5730 chips that provide clear and wide illumination of the area where it is installed in case of a panic situation, activating automatically with a runtime of up to 3 hours. Additionally, it has two LED indicator lights showing the current operating mode. If the green indicator light is on, the fixture is working, therefore it is on. Conversely, if the red indicator light is on, it means that the battery is charging.
Installation possibilities
LED emergency lights can be installed on both the ceiling and the wall, and can be placed in two ways:
- Recessed: Replacing the old fixture with this new one by placing it inside the cavity or making a hole in the new location. Once this step is completed and the wiring is connected, it is as simple as inserting the fixture into the cavity by pushing back the spring clips that will hold the emergency light in place.
- Surface: Also for replacing old surface-mounted emergency lamps on walls or ceilings. If a new connection needs to be made, the necessary wiring must first be brought to the chosen location, make connections, and remove the frame that holds the built-in luminaire in case it is to be installed recessed. Next, open the luminaire to separate it from the housing and drill it comfortably. Reassemble it, and it's ready to operate.
